Julia Weldon

Julia Weldon (born April 22, 1983) is an American indie singer and actor. They spent most of their childhood in Demarest, New Jersey, where they attended Demarest Schools and developed a passion for acting. After graduating from Vassar College in 2005 with a major in Philosophy, Weldon released their first album, 'Light is a Ghost', in 2013. They are a self-taught musician. In 2015, Weldon underwent gender-affirming surgery and faced a health scare, falling into a coma for four days. They returned to recording in 2016 with the album 'Comatose Hope'. Weldon is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns. They have made appearances in TV shows like 'High Maintenance' and 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit', and their movie credits include 'Adam' and 'Prom King, 2010'.
