Julius Harris Biography
Julius W. Harris (August 17, 1923 – October 17, 2004) was an American actor known for his roles in over 70 movies and numerous television series. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Harris initially worked as a nurse and bouncer in New York City jazz clubs. After serving as a medic in the U.S. Army during World War II, he took on his first acting role in the critically acclaimed film Nothing But a Man. Harris gained prominence for his performances in 1970s films such as Live and Let Die, Super Fly, Black Caesar, and Hell Up in Harlem. He portrayed iconic characters like Tee Hee in Live and Let Die. Throughout his four-decade-long career, Harris made significant contributions to the entertainment industry.
