June Louise Squibb (born November 6, 1929) is an American actress known for her roles in film and television. She gained recognition for her performance in the film Nebraska, which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Squibb's film credits include Alice, In & Out, About Schmidt, Would You Rather, I'll See You in My Dreams, and many more. She has also provided voice acting for animated films such as Ralph Breaks the Internet, Toy Story 4, and Soul. In television, Squibb has had recurring roles on Ghost Whisperer, The Young and the Restless, Shameless, Good Girls, and Little Voice. Born in Vandalia, Illinois, Squibb was married to Edward Sostek and later to acting teacher Charles Kakatsakis. She converted to Judaism in the 1950s.
