Kai Kennedy

Kai Alexander Kennedy (born 28 March 2002) is a Scottish professional footballer known for his role as a winger. He currently plays for York City. Kennedy began his career in the youth system at Rangers and signed a three-year contract with the club in 2018. He made his first-team debut for Rangers in January 2020. Throughout his career, Kennedy has had loan spells with Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Raith Rovers, Dunfermline Athletic, Hamilton Academical, and Falkirk. In September 2020, Kennedy garnered attention from clubs including Sheffield United, Manchester City, Roma, and Bayern Munich. In October 2020, he was loaned to Inverness Caledonian Thistle, but the loan was cut-short in January 2021 due to homesickness amidst a lockdown.
