Kali Reis Biography
Kali Reis (born August 24, 1986) is an American professional boxer and actress. She is a former world champion in two weight classes, holding the WBC female middleweight title in 2016 and the WBA, WBO, and IBO female light welterweight titles from 2020 to 2022. In 2018, Reis challenged Cecilia Brækhus for the undisputed female welterweight title. Reis made her acting debut in 2021 as the lead in the thriller film Catch the Fair One, where she also received story credit. She was nominated for Best Female Lead at the 37th Independent Spirit Awards for her performance. Reis was born in Providence, Rhode Island and raised by her mother with her four siblings. She has Cape Verdean and Native American ancestry (Cherokee, Nipmuc, and Seaconke Wampanoag).
