Kane Johnson (born 15 March 1978) is a former Australian rules footballer and former captain of the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He began his career with the Adelaide Crows in 1996, playing in their premiership sides in 1997 and 1998. Known for his midfield skills, Johnson became a key member of Adelaide's onball group. In 2002, he was traded to Richmond, where he excelled as a player and was appointed captain in 2005. Johnson's leadership and on-field performance earned him recognition as a star player.
