After being found and cared for by hospital staff, she was adopted by an American family in May 1998. Sesser grew up in Portland, Oregon, where she faced challenges integrating and learning English. Despite these obstacles, she taught herself to walk on her hands and underwent surgeries to correct her hand deformities. Today, Sesser is known for her impressive achievements as a para-athlete and her successful career as a model.
