Karen O'Leary Biography
Karen O'Leary is a New Zealand schoolteacher, comedian, and actress. She gained recognition for her role as Officer O'Leary in the comedy film 'What We Do in the Shadows' (2014) and its spin-off television series 'Wellington Paranormal' (2018-2022). O'Leary grew up in Miramar, Wellington, and attended Wellington High School and Victoria University. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in education, she became an early childhood teacher in Wellington. In addition to her acting career, O'Leary presented educational activities on Home Learning TV during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also appeared in the comedy film 'The Breaker Upperers' (2018).
