Katherine Saltzberg

Katherine Saltzberg (née Maisnik) is an American actress, singer, and comic. She gained recognition for her role as the showbiz-talented 16-year-old daughter in the ABC sitcom Star of the Family, alongside Brian Dennehy. In addition to her acting career, Saltzberg wrote and performed the autobiographical one-woman show Los Angelyne, which premiered at REDCAT in 2009. The show delved into her personal experiences with the attention-seeking Los Angeles icon, Angelyne. Saltzberg was also known for her singing abilities, as she sang the opening theme song for Star of the Family and was nominated for Best Young Actress in a new TV series. She comes from a family with an inventive background, as her father, Hugo Maisnik, created adhesive-free tape.
