Kathryn Phipps

Kathryn Phipps is a Jamaican lawyer and diplomat. She has served as Jamaica Ambassador to Cuba since 2018, taking over from A'Dale Robinson. With over three decades of experience, Phipps has specialized in international law, international trade, and organizations, with a specific focus on the Caribbean region. She has been actively involved in various professional and governmental roles throughout her career. Phipps has served on the board of the South East Regional Health Authority and the GC Foster College for Sports and Physical Education. Additionally, she has chaired Medical Appeals Tribunals and been a member of the Committee for the review of Jamaica Justice System. In 2000, she participated in the US Department of State's International Visitor Programme.
