Katia Beauchamp

Katia Beauchamp is an American entrepreneur and billionaire. She is best known as the co-founder of Birchbox, a popular beauty subscription service. Born in Austin, Texas, Beauchamp grew up in El Paso and attended various elementary schools before graduating from Coronado High School. She went on to earn a double major in international studies and economics, with a minor in Spanish, from Vassar College in 2005. After working in structured finance and commercial real estate, she founded Birchbox in 2010 while studying at Harvard Business School. In 2016, Beauchamp received the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Pioneer Award for her contributions to the beauty industry. She is of Mexican-American ethnicity.
