Katie O'Brien

Katie Jill O'Brien is a British former professional tennis player from Beverley, Yorkshire. Born on 2 May 1986, she briefly held the title of British No. 1 tennis player, reaching a career-high singles ranking of world No. 84 on 1 February 2010. O'Brien had a successful career on the ITF Circuit, winning four singles and two doubles titles. Notable achievements include reaching the second round of Wimbledon in 2007 and the Australian Open in 2010. O'Brien comes from a tennis-oriented family, with parents Phil and Jill O'Brien, and siblings James and Holly, who have also been involved in tennis coaching. She attended Hymers College in Hull from 1997 to 2002.
