Katie O'Malley, born Catherine Curran O'Malley on August 18, 1962, is an American jurist and former Baltimore City District Court judge. She is the daughter of former Maryland Attorney General J. Joseph Curran Jr. and Barbara Marie Atkins. O'Malley attended Notre Dame Preparatory School before earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Towson University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. After graduating in 1991, she worked as an assistant state's attorney in Baltimore County, prosecuting homicides and violent felonies. Later, she served as the chief of the white collar/economic crimes unit. O'Malley is married to Martin O'Malley, the former governor of Maryland and mayor of Baltimore.
