Katie Thurston

Katie Lane Thurston (born January 3, 1991) is an American television personality known for her appearances on reality dating shows. She gained national recognition as a contestant on season 25 of The Bachelor and later starred as the lead on season 17 of The Bachelorette. Thurston was raised in Lynnwood, Washington and played volleyball at Lynnwood High School as a libero. She first appeared on The Bachelor as a contestant on Matt James' season, finishing in 11th place. Thurston became a fan favorite for standing up against bullying in the house. Apart from her Bachelor franchise appearances, she was also announced as one of the leads for season 3 of The CW's FBOY Island.
