Kayla Cromer

Kayla Cromer (born February 17, 1998) is an American actress. She gained recognition in 2020 for her role as Matilda in the TV series Everything's Gonna Be Okay, becoming the first autistic actor to portray an autistic main character in a TV series. Cromer was born in San Jose, California, and grew up in Morgan Hill. Her passion for the paranormal began at a young age, and she even investigated famous locations like the RMS Queen Mary and the Winchester Mystery House. Initially aspiring to be an FBI criminal profiler, she decided to pursue acting after being inspired by Keira Knightley's performance in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Cromer made her acting debut in the TV series South of Hell in 2015, and has since appeared in films such as Desert Dwellers and Blood Orange.
