Kelsey Nixon

Kelsey Nixon is an American cook and television personality. She gained popularity as a contestant on the fourth season of Food Network Star in 2008, finishing in fourth place. Nixon went on to host her own cooking shows on the Cooking Channel, including Kelsey's Essentials, which ran for five seasons from 2010 to 2013, and Kelsey's Homemade in 2015. She attended Brigham Young University, where she studied Broadcast Journalism, and during her time there, she created and hosted her own cooking show called Kelsey's Kitchen. Nixon furthered her culinary education by earning a degree from Le Cordon Bleu - Hollywood and interning at Martha Stewart Living and The Food Network's Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee.
