Ken King, born Kenneth Paul King on December 28, 1971, is an American businessman and politician. He is a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 88 in the Texas Panhandle. King has a background in the oil and natural gas industry and has been elected for multiple terms. He defeated incumbent Republican Jim Landtroop in a runoff election in 2012 and was reelected in 2014 and 2016. King serves on the Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence and Public Education committees. His ratings by Empower Texans/Texans for Fiscal Responsibility were 56% in 2015 and 39% in 2013.
