Ken Kramer
Ken Kramer is an American lawyer, politician, and jurist from Colorado. Born on February 19, 1942, in Chicago, he grew up in Skokie, Illinois. After attending the University of Illinois, he pursued his Juris Doctor from Harvard University. Kramer was admitted to the bar in 1966 and became the assistant district attorney for the state's Fourth Judicial District by 1970. In 1972, he was elected to the Colorado House of Representatives and served for three terms. Kramer then represented Colorado's 5th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 1979 to 1987. He retired in 1986 to run for the United States Senate but was unsuccessful in the election.
