Ken Waters
Ken Waters, born Kenneth Ivor Charles Waters on October 9, 1961 in Cwmbran, is a Welsh former rugby union international. He played for Newbridge RFC and was a member of the 1991 Wales rugby union tour of Australia, although he remained uncapped. Waters earned his only international cap at the 1991 Rugby World Cup, starting as hooker in Wales' opening pool match against Western Samoa. However, Wales suffered an unexpected loss in that game and Waters was subsequently replaced by Garin Jenkins for the remainder of the tournament. Aside from his rugby career, Waters served as an officer with Gwent Police. In 2017, he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease.
