Kendra Scott

Kendra Scott (born March 27, 1974) is an American fashion designer and entrepreneur. She is the executive chairwoman, designer, and former CEO of Kendra Scott, LLC. Scott was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin and later moved to Houston, Texas where she graduated from Klein High School. After attending Texas A&M University for one year, she dropped out to move to Austin at age 19. Scott opened her first business, the Hat Box, which specialized in comfortable hats for women undergoing chemotherapy. In 2002, she founded Kendra Scott LLC and started designing jewelry from her spare bedroom with an initial investment of $500. Today, Kendra Scott is a successful and well-known brand in the fashion industry.
