Kenneth Strong
Kenneth Strong (9 September 1900 – 11 January 1982) was a British Army officer who served in the Second World War. He rose to the rank of Major-General and became Director General of Intelligence. Strong graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and was commissioned into the 1st Battalion, Royal Scots Fusiliers in 1920. He served as an Intelligence Officer in Ireland during the Irish War of Independence and later volunteered as an interpreter in Germany. Strong held various intelligence positions, including Head of the German Section at MI14, before commanding the 4th/5th Battalion, Royal Scots Fusiliers in 1941. After the war, he continued his military career and made significant contributions to intelligence operations.
