Kenny Alexander

Kenny Alexander, born on October 17, 1966, is an American politician and the current mayor of Norfolk, Virginia. Alongside his political career, Alexander is also involved in the field of education. He serves as the chancellor for twenty career colleges, including Centura College, which offers healthcare, business, and skilled trade programs across multiple campuses in Hampton Roads and Richmond, Virginia. He is also associated with the Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM), the largest system of aviation maintenance schools in the country. Additionally, Alexander is involved with Tidewater Tech, a trade school in Norfolk known for its welding and automotive mechanics programs. His efforts have led to the establishment of the only Wind Turbine Technician program in the Mid-Atlantic, offered at Centura Norfolk Campus.
