Kenny Tran

Kenny Tran, also known as Phuong Tran, is a Vietnamese American professional poker player. Born in Vietnam, Tran moved to Arcadia, California and began playing poker in 1992. He started playing tournaments in 1999 and has achieved thirteen career World Series of Poker cashes. Tran's notable achievements include finishing 5th in the $50,000 World Championship H.O.R.S.E. Event at the 2007 WSOP and earning $539,056 by winning the 2008 World Series of Poker $10,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em World Championship. Tran is married and has three children. He is known for donating 10% of his winnings to his extended family in Vietnam.
