Kevin Nichols Biography
Kevin John Nichols is a former track cyclist and Olympic gold medallist. Born on 4 July 1955 in Grafton, New South Wales, Nichols had a successful career in cycling. He represented Australia in multiple Summer Olympics, including the 1976, 1980, and 1984 Games. At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, Nichols was a member of the gold-winning pursuit team. In addition to his Olympic success, Nichols also won the Goulburn to Sydney Classic in 1993. His daughter, Kate Nichols, is a road racing cyclist, following in her father's footsteps in the world of cycling.
