Kieran O'Connor
Kieran O'Connor (31 May 1979 - 15 July 2020) was an Irish Gaelic footballer known for his contributions to the Cork senior football team. Born in Ireland, O'Connor began his career with the Aghada club, where he played at various levels as a dual player. In 1999, he joined the Cork under-21 team and later made his debut for the Cork senior team under Billy Morgan in 2004. O'Connor was a regular in defence, making 25 championship appearances before leaving the panel in March 2011. He was part of the extended panel when Cork won the All-Ireland Championship in 2010 and secured three Munster Championship medals. O'Connor also earned back-to-back National Football League medals in two separate divisions.
