Kim Allan is a New Zealand-based ultramarathoner who gained recognition for her incredible feats in the running world. In November 2012, at the age of 47, she embarked on a 500 km Ultramarathon around the Sri Chinmoy Peace Mile at Auckland Domain, raising money for the New Zealand Spinal Trust and the Catwalk Spinal Cord Injury Trust. Although she fell short of her goal, completing 385.8 km, Allan didn't let that deter her. In May 2013, she participated in the International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU) 24 Hour World Championship, running an impressive 203.919 km in the 24-hour period. Allan didn't stop there, and in December 2013, she shattered the women's world record for running without sleep by covering 500 kilometers in 86 hours, 11 minutes, and 9 seconds. Her remarkable runs were dedicated to supporting the New Zealand Spinal Trust.
