Kim Dickens is an American actress known for her roles in various films and television series. She made her film debut in the 1995 comedy film Palookaville and went on to star in lead roles in movies like Truth or Consequences, N.M., Zero Effect, and Mercury Rising. Dickens has also appeared in films such as Great Expectations, Hollow Man, House of Sand and Fog, Thank You for Smoking, The Blind Side, Gone Girl, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Lizzie, Land, and The Good Nurse. On television, she has had regular roles in Deadwood, Treme, House of Cards, and currently stars as Madison Clark in Fear the Walking Dead. Dickens was born in Huntsville, Alabama and graduated from Lee High School. She attended Vanderbilt University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication.
