    Kim Nelson Biography
    Kim Nelson (7 March 1958 – 12 August 2015) was an Australian artist known for his work in the Symbolism genre. Born in Kiama, Nelson showed artistic talent from a young age and studied life drawing at the Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney. He pursued a career in graphic design and advertising while also working as a singer/songwriter. Nelson later became a manager and curator of historic sites, showcasing his passion for preserving cultural heritage. He lived and worked near Canberra, drawing inspiration from the Brindabella mountain range. Nelson's artwork featured recurring motifs like the 'Red Shawl' and explored spiritual themes. He passed away in 2015.
