Kim Staunton Biography
Kim Staunton (born March 24, 1966) is an Australian former professional tennis player. Hailing from Sydney, she achieved success in the Australian Open girls' doubles, winning the title twice. In 1982, she partnered with Annette Gulley, and in 1983, she teamed up with Bernadette Randall. Staunton's triumph in 1983 also led to her inclusion in the women's singles main draw. However, she faced a challenging first-round match against the 13th-seeded Claudia Kohde-Kilsch and was defeated in straight sets. Staunton's career highlights include her achievements as a junior player in the Australian Open.
