    Kimberly Hunt is an Emmy Award-winning San Diego news reporter, chief anchor, and managing editor for KGTV. With an impressive career spanning over several decades, Hunt has interviewed notable figures such as sitting Presidents, Oprah Winfrey, and other military, political, and business leaders. She has covered major events including the Academy Awards, Super Bowl games, and political conventions. Born in Ventura, California, and raised in Napa, Hunt graduated from San Francisco State University and started her journalism career as a radio news reporter for KVON/KVYN Radio. She then worked for ABC Network News as a researcher before becoming an associate producer for ABC's Monday Night Football. Hunt began her on-air television career at CBS affiliate KMST and has been a trusted anchor for KGTV since 1987.
