Kimora Lee Simmons

Kimora Lee Simmons (born May 4, 1975) is an American model, businesswoman, fashion designer, venture capitalist, entrepreneur, TV personality, philanthropist, and author. She began her career as a model, signing with CHANEL as a teenager and walking the runway for renowned fashion houses like Fendi and Valentino. Simmons has graced the covers of Vogue and Elle magazines. In 1999, she launched the global lifestyle brand Baby Phat, which achieved tremendous success worldwide. Simmons also ventured into reality television, starring in the E! Network's 'Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane,' which aired for four seasons. In addition to her accomplishments in fashion and modeling, she received a Tony Award in 2003 for her role as a producer on Broadway's Def Poetry Jam. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Simmons overcame bullying and grew to become a prominent figure in the industry.
