    Kip Moore, born Kipling Christian Moore on April 1, 1980, is an American country music singer and songwriter. He is signed to MCA Nashville and has released five studio albums for the label. Moore has charted a total of twelve entries on Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay, including the number-one hit 'Somethin' 'Bout a Truck' and four additional top-ten hits. Apart from his successful solo career, Moore has also written songs for artists such as Frankie Ballard, Thompson Square, and James Wesley. Born in Tifton, Georgia, Moore learned to play guitar while attending Wallace State Community College and made his debut performance at a Mellow Mushroom restaurant in Valdosta, Georgia. He later moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2004 to pursue his music career.
