Kiran Jethwa

Kiran Jethwa, born August 22, 1976, in Nairobi, is a Kenyan-born celebrity chef, restaurateur, and entrepreneur. He is best known as the host and presenter of the TV show, Tales From The Bush Larder, which explores the culinary culture of Africa. Since 2016, Jethwa has also co-presented Food Unwrapped on Channel 4. Raised in Kenya, Jethwa completed his education in hospitality management in Manchester, United Kingdom. He then travelled extensively, gaining culinary experience across Europe, the USA, Africa, Southeast Asia, South & Central America, and Australia. Jethwa's cooking style is a unique fusion of African, European, and Indian cuisine, often described as Afro-Mediterranean with an Indian influence. Additionally, Jethwa is the producer, presenter, and host of the award-winning cooking series, Tales from the Bush Larder.
