Kostya Kennedy

Kostya Kennedy is an American journalist and author known for his work at Sports Illustrated and his best-selling books. He is currently the editorial director at Dotdash Meredith, overseeing special editions for various brands such as LIFE, People, Entertainment Weekly, and more. Kennedy began his career as a staff writer at Newsday and contributed to The New York Times and The New Yorker. He graduated with a BA in Philosophy from Stony Brook University in 1990 and earned his journalism degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 1992, where he was awarded the prestigious Pulitzer Traveling Fellowship.
