La'Darius Marshall (born May 9, 1998) is an American cheerleader and television personality. He gained national recognition for his appearance in the Netflix docuseries Cheer. Marshall hails from Fort Walton Beach, Florida and attended Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas. At Navarro, he was a member of the cheer team coached by Monica Aldama. Prior to his starring role on Cheer, Marshall became an internet sensation when a video of him cheering at a sporting event went viral. Throughout his life, he faced personal challenges, including his mother's addiction and imprisonment, struggles with acceptance from his brothers after coming out as gay, and experiences of sexual abuse. In January 2020, he made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show alongside other team members.
