Larry Duran (July 26, 1925 – November 27, 2002) was an American actor and stuntman. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Chico Modesto in the 1961 film One-Eyed Jacks. Born in Los Angeles, California, Duran had Filipino heritage. He served in the United States Navy for three years, during which he developed his skills as an amateur boxer. After his discharge, Duran pursued a career as a professional boxer before being discovered by Marlon Brando. Brando cast Duran in his screen debut in 1952's Viva Zapata!. This marked the beginning of a long-lasting friendship and collaboration between the two. Duran's work as a stunt performer includes notable films such as The Magnificent Seven, Battle for the Planet of the Apes, and Earthquake.
