Laura Drake

Laura Drake is an American author known for her contemporary romance novels. She grew up in the suburbs outside Detroit, Michigan and later worked as a CFO before pursuing writing full-time. In 2014, Drake received the Romance Writers of America's RITA Award for Best First Book for her novel 'The Sweet Spot', which is part of her Sweet on a Cowboy series set in the world of professional bull riding. Her debut novel was released in the summer of 2013 and gained critical acclaim, including a starred review in Library Journal and Top Picks in RT Book Reviews. Drake has also published several other romance novels with Harlequin and Hachette publishers.
