Lauren Potter

Lauren Elizabeth Potter (born May 10, 1990) is an American actress, advocate, and comedian, best known for her role as Becky Jackson on the FOX series Glee. Born with Down syndrome, Potter has become an advocate for individuals with disabilities and is associated with several organizations including AbilityPath, Best Buddies International, the National Down Syndrome Society, the American Association of People with Disabilities, and Special Olympics. Potter began her acting career at the age of 16, with her first role in the film Mr. Blue Sky. She has also appeared in television shows such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Private Practice.
