Ari Staprans Leff, known professionally as Lauv, is an American singer and songwriter. Born on August 8, 1994, in San Francisco, California, Lauv rose to fame with his breakout hit 'I Like Me Better' featured on his compilation album 'I Met You When I Was 18 (The Playlist)' in 2018. He released his debut album, 'How I'm Feeling,' on March 6, 2020, which debuted at number 16 on the US Billboard 200. Apart from his own music, Lauv has also written songs for other artists like Charli XCX and Cheat Codes with Demi Lovato. With a passion for music since childhood, Lauv honed his skills in guitar, recording, sound design, production, and vocals.
