Lee Hancock
Lee Hancock, born Leland David Hancock on June 27, 1967, is a former American professional baseball player. He played as a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates in Major League Baseball for two seasons. Hancock was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the fourth round of the 1988 MLB draft from Cal Poly. In May 1990, he was traded to the Pirates and assigned to Double-A Harrisburg. He made his MLB debut on September 3, 1995, relieving Paul Wagner but allowed a run-scoring double to Brian Hunter. Hancock played his final MLB game on May 13, 1996, and then spent the 1996 and 1997 seasons in the farm systems of the San Francisco Giants and Chicago Cubs. He retired from professional baseball after the 1997 season.
