Lee Vincent
Lee Vincent (April 15, 1916 – December 11, 2007) was an American musician, orchestra leader, talent agent, and radio sales manager. Born as Vincent Lee Cerreta in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, he learned to play the violin at age 9 and later switched to the bass. Vincent fought in World War II from 1943 to 1946 and played with Glenn Miller during that time. After the war, he formed various groups such as the Lee Vincent Orchestra, Band, and Trio. He also worked as a talent agent, booking musicians for performers. Additionally, Vincent had a successful career as a sales manager for radio stations in Northeastern Pennsylvania. He performed alongside notable artists like Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Jr., and Aretha Franklin. Lee Vincent passed away at the age of 91.
