Lee Weaver Biography
Lee Weaver (born April 10, 1930) is an American film and television actor. Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Weaver is known for his diverse roles in various TV shows and movies. He voiced the character of Alpine in the animated series G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero (1985–1986) and appeared as a blind seer in the film O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000). Weaver played a friend of George Jefferson on the third season of The Jeffersons and was the original mailman on 227 (1985). He portrayed Ricardo in the TV series Easy Street (1986–1987) and had guest appearances on The Cosby Show, One World, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Weaver also played Ed Downer on an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
