Leigh Taylor-Young Biography
Leigh Taylor-Young (born January 25, 1945) is an American actress known for her work on stage, screen, podcast, radio, and television. She has appeared in several notable films including I Love You, Alice B. Toklas (1968), The Horsemen (1971), The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight (1971), Soylent Green (1973), and Jagged Edge (1985). Young received critical acclaim and won an Emmy for her role in the hit television series Picket Fences. Born in Washington, D.C., Young adopted the surname Young from her stepfather. She comes from a family of artists, with her siblings Dey Young and Lance Young also pursuing careers in the entertainment industry. Young attended Northwestern University before leaving to pursue acting.
