Leslie Adlam

Leslie William Adlam (24 June 1897 – 1975) was an English professional footballer who played in the Football League for Cardiff City, Oldham Athletic, and Queens Park Rangers. He started his career with non-League side Guildford United as a centre-forward before transitioning to a wing-half at Oldham, where he made over 250 appearances. Adlam's skill and leadership abilities led him to captain Queens Park Rangers during his two-year stint with the club. After leaving Rangers in 1933, he joined Third Division South side Crystal Palace. Adlam's contributions to football during the early 20th century are still remembered and respected today.
