    Li-Ming Hu is a New Zealand actress, artist, and musician, born on June 22, 1987. She gained prominence for her roles in various television shows and films. Hu is best known for her portrayal of Li Mei Chen in the popular New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street. She also played Gemma/RPM Operator Silver in Power Rangers RPM, a role she reprised years later in Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel. In addition to her acting career, Hu is a talented artist and musician. She holds a Master of Arts degree in history from the University of Auckland. Hu was born to Chinese-Singaporean immigrant parents in Palmerston North, New Zealand.
