Liam Dickinson
Liam Michael Dickinson (born 4 October 1985) is an English former semi-professional footballer who played as a striker. He started his senior career in non-league football with clubs such as Irlam, Swinton Town, Trafford, and Woodley Sports. In December 2005, Dickinson signed a professional contract with Stockport County, where he scored the winning goal in the 2008 League Two play-off final. He later moved to Derby County for £750,000 in July 2008 but did not make a first-team appearance. Instead, he had loan spells at Huddersfield Town, Blackpool, and Leeds United. He transferred to Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2009 and went on loan to Peterborough United. In June 2010, he joined Barnsley for £150,000. Dickinson was loaned out to Walsall and Rochdale before he joined Southend United via Plymouth Argyle in July 2011.
