Lilly Englert

Lilly Englert (born 23 August 1989) is an English actress known for her roles in The Wilde Wedding, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Ask for Jane. Born in London, England, she was raised in Parma, Italy, with four younger siblings. In 2010, Englert moved to New York City to study acting at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Her Off-Broadway debut came in 2013 when she appeared in Julie Taymor's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at Theatre for a New Audience. She received critical acclaim for her portrayal of Hermia alongside Kathryn Hunter's Puck. Englert's talent also led her to be cast as Cordelia in Theatre for a New Audience's production of King Lear.
