Linda Cohn (born 1960) is an American sportscaster known for her work as an anchor on ESPN's SportsCenter. Growing up in Long Island, New York, Cohn developed a passion for sports from a young age, watching games with her father. She excelled in ice hockey, becoming a talented goaltender and even making her high school's boys team. Cohn attended SUNY Oswego, where she played goalie for the women's ice hockey team and graduated with a bachelor's degree in arts and communications in 1981. She began her career as a sports anchor for WALK-AM in Patchogue, New York, in 1981. Cohn's contributions to sports journalism have been recognized, and she was inducted into the Oswego State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2006.
