Linda Shayne is an American-Canadian dual citizen, known for her work as a film and television writer, director, and former actress. She was born in the United States and graduated with highest honors from the University of California at Berkeley. Shayne has written and directed several feature films, including Purple People Eater and Flyin' Ryan, and has also worked as a writer on Crystal Heart and Screwballs. As an actress, she has appeared in films such as Out of Bounds, No Man's Land, Graduation Day, Humanoids from the Deep, and Lovely But Deadly.
