Lisa Codrington is a Canadian character actress and playwright. She is best known for her role as Gail on the comedy series Letterkenny. Codrington studied criminology and theatre at the University of Winnipeg and acting at the Ryerson Theatre School. As a playwright, she gained recognition for her works Cast Iron, which received a nomination for the Governor General's Award for English-language drama in 2006, and Up the Garden Path, which won the Carol Bolt Award in 2016. Her other plays include The Aftermath (2011) and The Adventures of the Black Girl in Her Search for God (2016). In addition to her theatrical accomplishments, Codrington has appeared in the series Bad Blood and has had supporting roles in various television shows.
